Olive Buying Power is the most conservative measure of the account's capacity. While a broker like TD Ameritrade will only require the minimum initial and maintenance margin, Olive requires 100% of the maximum loss for each outcome. For instance, if you sell a $100 put option, Olive's Buying Power would fall by $10,000 while your TD Ameritrade's buying power may fall by only $2,000.
